I’ve only used this printer a couple of times, but so far I love it. I love the overall appearance of the printer. The ink cartridges were a little hard to get in the first time, I almost gave up. Print quality is better than the previous printer I had. Very easy to set up. It does take awhile for it to begin printing documents, I wait almost a minute before it begins to print. Overall for the price and quality of printing, I would give this computer a B.

This printer is ideal for us as we are traveling about the country in an RV and making loads of pictures at historic sites. The photos are sharp, clear and editable right off the camera card in the printer meaning no computer is necessary. The prints are also instantly dry, another bonus!

Customer Review: Print Quality Versus Supply Cost
I have been using the Brother HL-4070 for a few months. It is very easy to operate and does duplex well even though it is slow when in the duplex mode. I have been satisfied with the print quality and the speed at which it prints. This is the best printer I have owned for my home office use with one exception. I’ll explain that in as much detail as I can.

This printer is a primary network printer. It has issues when connected directly to one PC. If using Windows Vista, a Printer Spooler Error occurs. HP has no supporting drivers to fix this. Microsoft has no Windows patches to fix this. This error is famous as several forums exist to attempt and hack both the Windows spooler and the HP 2600n. Fought this problem for two solid days with Tech calls, internet chats and promises of return calls with a solution. I have yet to hear from either group. However, the pages that managed to print were of the finest quality I’ve ever seen from a home office printer. I’m sure it will be the best printer I’ll ever own once it works.
